BROOKLYN BOUNCE
For nearly 15 years, Germany’s Brooklyn Bounce has been burning-up dance floors from New York to Berlin with their innovative sounds. Perhaps the best-known moniker of producers Dennis Bohn and Matthias Menck, Brooklyn Bounce has scored numerous gold and platinum records around the globe, most notably their first breakthrough hit, The Theme (of Progressive Attack), and another worldwide hit, 2002’s Loud & Proud.
Just last year, another pair of well-known German producers, Volker Heinrichs (a/k/a Picco) and Paul Hutsch (a/k/a phElectro), decided to revisit this Brooklyn Bounce track under their joint project name, Sample Rippers. With the full blessing of Bohn and Menck, the boys went at the project with gusto, naming the result Louder & Prouder 2010, and infusing the track with amazing new energy for a new decade.
Along with the Rippers own take on the track, we’re pleased to bring you an incredible booty-shaker remix from Germany’s Bazzpitchers (Max Kleinschmidt, Sascha Weinert, and Fabian Mazzarella), as well as a great electro treatment from Hutsch himself as Picco.
Louder & Prouder 2010 is indeed more loud, more proud, more fun, with more bass, and more of everything that made the track so special when first released. Give it a listen, and see if you don’t agree that this track is a great way to start a new decade!
