CARLOS SAENZ

Carlos, a native of Brownsville, Texas, has been singing for as long as he can remember and started performing publicly at the Mississippi State University while he was majoring in Business Administration. Carlos’s stage roles include “Doody" in the play Grease; "Pepe" in West Side Story and "Greg" in A Chorus Line. Carlos was selected for a finalist position in the creation of the award winning musical group, “O-Town” in Orlando, Florida.

An introvert and shy by nature, Carlos is a Method Actor and assumes the role of the characters he portrays when performing. His craft has been noted by Jeanie Tracy who has several number one dance hits (Cha Cha Heels, The Power, Everybody Up, and Party People), Xavier with his remake of Sylvester's "Mighty Real", and Kirk Payne with KL Entertainment which promotes Carlos.

Along with Carlos’s craft in acting, he is also emerging a performing artist as a singer in his own right. In his youth, he was inspired by Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Boyz II Men, Ricky Martin, Movies that inspired him growing up included Singing in the Rain , Annie, and other musicals that helped shape his vocal abilities today. He did his first musical, Oliver, the summer going into my freshman year in college... was also a featured singer/dancer... then when Carlos was playing tennis for my college team he saw a flyer for Little Shop of 'Horror auditions... Carlos didn't get the part but the theatre teacher was so impressed by my voice she made 3 of the teachers in the music department come hear me sing the next day. The next thing Carlos knew he was in a singing group called " the Clefs", choir and in voice lessons the next semester. Carlos was cast as Jigger in "Carousel" and had a loved being able to continue his vocal abilities.

Again Carlos happened to be discovered in New Orleans. He was with a friend that was a great pianist and they asked if they could perform at the venue on Bourbon Street. It was all for fun and the next thing he knew, he was flying back and forth form Dallas performing for his new fans in New Orleans. He has one talented voice that everyone should hear! He is one of the few male artist that actually sounds like his recording sessions. Carlos decided he wanted to work more on his music and vocal skills and has started work on his first single to be released later this year! Carlos extends a special thank you to all his fans that contribute his talent and to his success!
