I am a songwriter in New York and have been writing pop music since the mid-1980's. I was inspired into songwriting by Tony Romeo who was an incredible writer in the 1970's who had many hits for The Partridge Family, Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge, Lou Christie and others. During the mid-80's I was primarily writing mid and uptempo pop songs. In the late 1980's I became very interested in the music of Stock, Aitken & Waterman(the hit songwriting team from England) and I began writing Euro/pop dance music and wrote many songs in that style until the mid 2000's. Since then I decided, because I had a large catalogue of pop/dance songs, that I would start writing mid/uptempo pop songs which would be a little better suited for the U.S. market. I have also written some ballads and an original pop Christmas song.
During the period I was writing Euro/pop dance songs, I entered a number of worldwide songwriting contests in dance and pop and have won about 25 songwriting awards. In addition I have had a couple of songs released in Sweden in the mid 2000's. The following is a list of some of my highlights:

Besides the awards listed, I have received a number of other awards from some of these contests for other songs. I have been extremely active in promoting my music all over the world. I am very motivated and take songwriting very seriously.
