OK if Lovari looks familiar to you, it may be from his work as an Actor. Hell I just saw him last week on an episode of Law & Order! If you live in the NY area you may have seen one of his many club and event performances. In fact last year he performed at more Pride events than any other artist ever. He is also big on doing Charity work and helping with Human Rights issues such as the Vigil he helped arrange in Queens last month after a horrific Gay Bashing that left the victim in a coma in the hospital. Where he gets the time to do all this and put together an album I have no idea, but this single “Move Your Body” originally appeared in his current full length release, “The Statement.”
in Queens, New York Lovari’s debut single “These Tears” received some airplay but his Sophomore release “All I Want Is You” scored a number one position on Hot 96 an Internet station based in Portland, Oregon. His singles along with his many performances in the area had brought him much press even scoring the cover of Buzz.
As a SAG actor, Lovari has appeared in Sydney Pollack’s “The Interpreter” and a co-starring role in “The New York Strangler.” Lovari also Directed and wrote the Screen Play for “Shore Thing,” which debuted at the Coney Island Film Festival in the fall of 2008. He also appears alongside Angelina Jolie in “Salt” which is scheduled for a 2010 release.
Lovari is a Taurus and that explains his stoic determination. He ain’t had it easy in life, but he views obstacles as a chance to success by overcoming them. "Move Your Body" is his new single with its’ fabulous mix from the Majik Boys outta Phoenix represent a new step in his career as a Recording Artist.
