WHO IS SOBEL PROMOTIONS?

Barbara Sobel is the founder of Sobel Promotions and has spent the last 20 working with groups around the globe. Working with both major label artists and independent acts, Sobel Promotions is a full service, "one stop shopping" promotion company which focuses on Dance Music. We also work with Indie, Trance, Pop, Electronica, Britpop, Euro Dance, Techno, Alternative, Rock and Spiritual Music.

Barbara is the National Record and Publicity person for CAPP Records, National/International Record Promotion and Publicity for ISV Entertainment and Import Sound and Vision, North American Publicity for Aardvark Records UK and National Marketing and Radio Promotions for D1 Music. She has several radio interview shows, an interview blog and soon will have an hour long interview podcast which will be syndicated.

We try to create a family atmosphere within Sobel Promotions, instead of a cold impersonal environment. We know the importance of remembering the human aspect of the musicians and not seeing them just as a number or a statistic. When a member of the Sobel Promotions roster succeeds, we all celebrate. If a member fail, we all do. At Sobel Promotions we strive to be the best. The Promoter and Promotion Company is a representation of the artists on the roster, and the artists at Sobel Promotion are considered "The Best Of The Best" and we must live up to that standard.

WHAT SERVICES DOES SOBEL PROMOTIONS PROVIDE?

Complete consultation, assistance with selecting radio singles, obtaining remixes and provide an overall plan for the life of the single.
Full promotion and servicing to radio, radio mixshows, industry professionals in the US & Canada and digital record pools like Zip DJ, Masspool, and Starfleet.
Radio airplay in the rotation of Sobel Nation Radio, Sobel Nation Radio mix shows and on the popular Dance Music stations on multiple NightOutRadio.com stations, both locally and nationally.

Video Promotion - your video will be submitted personally to Logo/MTV for evaluation, plus other video sites around the internet. If your video is accepted for Logo/MTV, you will need a closed captioned Digibeta NTSC.

Online Promotion - MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc..as well your own page on the Sobel Promotions website (www.sobelpromotions.com). If necessary, these pages will be designed and run by Sobel Promotions. Also, the band's accomplishments will be mentioned in The Sobel Scoop newsletter which is a weekly newsletter sent out to people in the industry which focuses on the artists on the Sobel Promotions Roster.

Interviews - Live, taped and press interviews will be set up via phone, in studio and SKYPE for radio and other media.

Set up listening parties for new releases

Help generate publicity for Billboard push if single is pushed to Billboard.

Continues communication, updates and immediate access to staff for answers to your questions.

Invitations to perform in Sobel Promotions Showcases.

Provide referrals for all vital aspects of the music business, including the following:
